"The Compass is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at in a while. That's saying something because we've stayed in about a dozen hotels in the last two months alone. The location is perfect for visiting Flagler Beach. It's surrounded by excellent espresso cafes, restaurants, and shopping and is a few steps from the Atlantic Ocean and the Flagler Pier. Staff is friendly and helpful. The free breakfast offerings are somewhat better than average and the house coffee is definitely a cut above....

"Staff was friendly. I prepaid for two rooms, and the clerk made me pay for incidentals separately, instead of just letting me run my card just one time. Also the breakfast left a lot to be desired. "

"We had such a lovely stay at Vista Verde Farm Retreat! The tiny home was absolutely adorable—cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a perfect little getaway. You can tell a lot of care went into creating a warm, welcoming space. The surrounding area is peaceful and beautiful—perfect for relaxing and unplugging a bit. While dining options are a little limited nearby, we found a gem in The Great Outdoor Restaurant, which quickly became our favorite spot for a meal...

"Great area to stay on Amelia Island. Beach is across the street with easy walking access. Great food, ice cream, coffee, and loaded teas all within walking distance. Most of all staff was very helpful and pleasant 😊"
