Room had plastered gouges that were not painted, anything metal was rusted, infested with roaches, sheets has holes door manual lock did not work. The restaurant closed 2 years ago photos were at least 1-2 decades old, parking lot was overgrown and had pot holes.

Overpriced hostel. I knew going in the space would be shared, but I wasn’t prepared for the lack of basic amenities or the overall condition. There were no blankets at all. Parking is an additional charge even though it’s just an open lot in front of the house with no gate or security, which doesn’t justify the fee. The quality of the property is very poor: holes in the ceiling, walls covered with printer paper, duct-taped windows, and makeshift walls added to create extra rooms. The biggest issue was the noise. Because the space is shared and the walls are extremely thin, you can hear everything. The guests next door were very loud, waking up at 1:00 AM to get ready while live streaming. I politely asked them to be quieter and explained I had to be up early. They said they would, but didn’t. I contacted the owner asking them to intervene and got no response. I also asked again about blankets and was told the only ones available were already in the room- which there weren’t. That message was ignored. Overall, not worth the cost. The room size wasn’t the issue, it was the poor condition and lack of support. You’re at the mercy of other guests, and if they’re disruptive, there’s little recourse. The lack of sleep completely defeated the purpose of booking. I’ve added photos of everything I have proof of including the listing we booked to compare to what we got.

This place is terrible, this spot is like a rooming house. The room we had was not looking like the picture thay was advertised. The room was the size of a jail cell NO TV You have to share the bathroom with 8 other rooms, which was dirty with hair in the sink. You have no amenities in this place..They charge for parking for staying at this house. You have no amenities, even with the towels we didnt have wash cloths to take a bath. We couldn't stay here so we left knowing we've waisted money booking this place.This place reminded me of the halfway house when inmates are release from prison

Our reservation said that we booked a deluxe double, garden view, and we were provided a very small, dingy room that had windows looking directly at the busy street. The window panels were broken and there was flaky paint. Also, we arrived at about 10 pm and there was no one to contact, and they didn't provide a blanket on the bed, just sheets. It was a loud, cold, miserable night and when I finally found someone in the house to complain, I was told that she was washing the blanket so didn't provide one. What??? I highly recommend AVOIDING this place!!!

Room not as described. No in room refrigerator or microwave. No light switch, one outlet.. Can barely even be called a room. Window is a fire safety hazard. It's one window split in half by drywall. They made one regular sized room into 2. I wouldn't have booked if it had the real pics.

For anyone that needs a bed to sleep that's it. The kitchen and common area pretty well maintained. The restroom was a bit dirty, no rug no toilet paper. But the shower was very nice. The sink only had hot 🔥 water so i could barely wash my hands or teeth. The room I received room 8 has a skating wall to room 7 or 9 that everything could be heard. Even the breathing. I was next to a family with 2 children and it just wasn't the best room. Overall it was an okay stay.

The listing was incredibly misleading, especially that the bathroom(s?) are not connected to the bedrooms. Door to the house was left ajar and not even closed. Sketchy man staring at me from his bedroom door while I tried to find my room. Incredibly thin walls. Did not feel safe. I booked a different hotel.

I was booked through VRBO through Expedia hotels as a complimentary stay on behalf of VRBO last minute cancellation. I was informed that it was an apt/hotel meaning it’s a studio apartment from my previous experiences. However upon arrival I realized that it basically is a boarding room house. I appreciate VRBO attempts to rectify an emergency situation but it was nothing positive in comparison to what I had originally booked for myself. When I arrived two men in a car approached me in an aggressive manner. As a solo business class female I didn’t feel safe and felt misled by the photos and categorization of this listing. I left without entering the premises after taking time inside my car to finally have time late at night after a long work day to read all the bad reviews to understand the dynamics of the situation. The manager Jose tried sending me a Airbnb link to a private room inside of a house separate from the house and that’s when I began to feel something was a bit off because why are you sending me a different location with a private room when I’m thinking I’m booking a hotel suite? If I wanted to room with others or share housing premises due to budget restrictions I would have knowingly went in that direction to at least a more comfortable nicer setting SoBE or Miami Beach hostel but in my case my budget was allotted for having at bare minimum my own studio or one bedroom apartment. I didn’t ask for the $10 parking refund because restoring my peace was priceless
