"I had mixed feelings about my stay at Vero Beach Inn & Suites. While the staff was courteous, several issues made the experience disappointing. The first frustration was being told it would cost $25 per hour to check in early. We did not end up checking in early, but just hearing that rate was surprising and seemed excessive. "Gym was closed. There’s no vending machines. The bedding on one bed was filthy and smelled like arm pits. The carpet was sticky and felt awful. Hair in shower. Only shower. Tub filler was stuck up. Reeked of skunk weed."

"The room and hotel was very clean. But, the room didn't have a microwave nor coffee pot. It did have a refrigerator. I find a coffee pot to be a necessity in a room. I guess because I'm a coffee drinker. The free breakfast was good; plenty of options and excellent coffee. I enjoyed my stay."

I was provided with a handy and helpful map of the premises which most hotels are not as thoughtful.
