"We wanted a place to stay near our friend wjom we were visiting and this was the closest we could find. But I will never come back to this hotel. The room was very small, ac with hot air , tried to open windows and sleep but the traffic noise was a lot. Bed was not comfortable pillows were really bad - developed backache and neck ache after the stay. We wanted a room just to sleep after roaming around but didn’t get any sleep. "It's a student halls of residence. If that's what you're expecting I would imagine you'd be very happy with the room. If you're expecting a hotel, it's not a hotel. It was exactly as I was expecting. Comfortable, no frills, perfectly fine for a one night stay for me. Wifi was great. A little bit of noise at times, it's student accommodation, but not too noisy by a long way. I recently stayed at the IBIS in Bristol and that was far noisier. Would happily book again for a short stay."

"Great location, beautifully decorated room and good quality bedding, towels, toiletries etc. However .. our room (9) was TINY .. the gap on one side of the bed was approx 8 inches between the bed and the wall so very difficult to navigate safely particularly at night without stubbing your toe on the one side or bumping into to door handle on the other. "Owned and managed by the traditional Bull pub. The loft was behind the pub carpark - very convenient. Ever your car registration at the bar. Room was spacious warm clean and tidy with basic kitchenette. A had a good deal on this room, but at full price it's still excellent value.Make sure ou visit the pub. "
