"This was a nice hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't like how the TV was mounted. If you wanted to sit on the couch, the TV didn't swivel which was silly. Other than that, it was a nice stay. There was a lot of construction going on so there wasn't enough parking for everyone - hopefully when the construction is over that will be remedied."

"Bar staff not the most attentive. Ordered sandwiches after a long ride and 20 minutes later when I went to pick them up, the order was never given to the cook. Bar staff was not going to say anything until I saw her entering in the order and called her out on it"

"I have been traveling through the Portsmouth, NH area for a few years now and have stayed at the Anchorage Inn and Suites. It has steadily declined in condition. While there has been promise of much needed update and remodel for years, it has not happened. This will be my last stay. The room was worn beyond acceptable. "The room was fine but the bed was not comfortable at all. It was very soft and if you have a bad back I would not recommend staying here. It was small but I expected it to be based on the pictures and the room we selected. The hotel is close to town so you can walk to most restaurants and shops. There was an issue with the air conditioner but it was addressed pretty quickly via a phone call and a reset of the system on-line."

"This is such a cute inn with all the amenities that are needed. It is wonderful to be able to just check yourself in without waiting in line. The space was clean, and tastefully decorated. The town, adorable. Parking isn't ideal for a large truck (we're driving through so, vehicle option wasn't negotiable for us) but we made it work! 5 stars, we can't wait to come back!"
