"Well that was a pleasant surprise. I lived in Ptown for many years. We always looked down our noses at the Holiday Inn at the end of town. Here I was, 20 years later with kids and in need of a hotel with a pool, parking, and two queen beds. The pics looked great. So did the reviews, so I made a reservation. WHAT A DELIGHT. "The hotel is a good price performance ratio in its class. The breakfast was surprisingly good with lots of choices including eggs, breakfast meat, some potato thing, cereals, jam, oat milk, yoghurt, juices, make your own waffles, coffee, tea, and a selection of decent breads. My main negative was that the rooms had a very moldy smell and a few of us woke up with headaches each day. "The front desk, cleaning and breakfast staff were all exceptionally kind, polite and efficient. We loved the Hotel and the vibe. The breakfast was delish & presented lovely, and the coffee was so good!! We have 2 comments : 1)the hide a bed mattress was horrible, thin with no support. Our son slept on top of the couch instead because it was at least firm 2) the cigarette butts littered all over the front entrance and the front flower bed made this property look like a cheap place.
