"Das Zimmer war leider nicht besonders sauber, im Kühlschrank fanden wir noch verschimmeltes Obst von den letzten Gästen. Bei fünf Übernachtungen erhielten wir trotz schriftlicher und anschließend persönlicher Nachfrage nicht einmal frische Handtücher. Das Room-Service-Schild wurde einfach nur wieder ins Zimmer gehängt.
Das angepriesene reichhaltige kontinentale Frühstück ließ leider auch zu wünschen übrig. Geringe Auswahl, und diese der Optik nach auch von gestern.

"Very friendly and helpful staff, great bar and restaurant, excellent spa, indoor and outside pool options, great access to beach and boardwalk leading to Gaia and Espinho (two smaller cities south of Porto). Rooms also have great view. Very upscale. The only downside is that it’s about a 25 minute car ride to Porto, but the neighboring cities also offer a cool beach town experience (but definitely go to Porto). We would definitely return!"

"Definitely a 3 star hotel . The room smelled like mold . Everything was a bit outdated. I arrived at 12am and the guy at the front desk kept asking me for the same things after giving them to him already. He took my passport , gave it back to me then asked for it again.. he did that a few times .. kinda annoying to deal with that late at night . Also I don’t know when’s the last time someone emptied the garbage cans in middle of the hallway but the hallway really stunk bad.
Breakfast was meh ....

"Not a 4 star hotel. Super dated old hotel and they don’t even try to maintain anything. When something breaks down, they don’t even try to fix it. We came into a hot room and the AC was not blowing, and they tried to gaslight me. Make me feel like I’m crazy. But we booked two rooms and the other room the AC was blowing just fine. They made it seem like we didn’t know how to use an AC and they did not change the room until the third time we asked. The balcony area looked really gross. Everything...
