The room fit and fondue do not reflect the price - layouts are quite strange, ie. no sink on the same floor as the toilet and shower. "Great location for exploring beautiful Lyon. I did find our initial arrival into the hotel a bit awkward. The hotel itself is located inside an apartment building so you have to communicate through a buzzer system, then heavy doors and lastly into a very small elevator or two flights of stairs. Not easy with luggage. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the room was certainly a good size. I did not realize there was no air conditioning and upon arrival the room was very warm. "Central location minutes from many restaurants. Good comfortable bed. There was a massive lamp over our bed which was a great feature but didn't work so didn't understand the purpose. We stayed on the 3rd floor and there was a very unattractive stain on the floor. There were inconsistencies with the staff helpfulness. I had asked the woman cleaning our room to leave an extra towel which she forgot to do. When I got back to the hotel and realised there wasn't a towel I called reception and was...

"A nice, safe hotel in the center of town. The front desk staff was very good, but the housekeeping staff left a bit to be desired. We asked at the front desk for extra pillows, which never came so we had to ask housekeeping. They, in turn, had to speak to someone higher up. Eventually the front desk staff brought the pillows after which housekeeping tried to bring them again. Also, we left the room one morning and returned early afternoon and the room had not been serviced. None every returned...

"Perfekt in der Altstadt von Lyon gelegenes Hotel. Ein wunderschönes Haus mit Geschichte. Der Knüller ist natürlich der Pool-Bereich, der sich zwischen grottenartigen Mauern durchzieht. Ein Traum! Das Frühstück ist, einschließlich glutenfrei, sehr, sehr gut; hier wie im gesamten Hotel ist das außerordentlich hilfreiche Personal hervorzuheben.
