"Das Viva la Vie ist ein sehr schönes, kleines Hotel, das perfekt gelegen ist, wenn man die Wine-Tram nutzen möchte. In nur 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß an der Haltestelle. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und groß. An manchen Stellen ist die Eineichtung ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Einiges könnte ausgebessert werden. Es ist allerdings alles absolut vertretbar. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch und das ganze Team ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der...

"We loved our stay at La Villa Retreat! Everything from the way we were greeted with a wine tasting our first night, to the beautiful grounds, to our well appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts made it a great stay. One cool night we requested that the staff light the fire in our fireplace so it would be warm when we returned. Returning after dinner to a room lit by the fireplace was just delightful. If it wasn't so far away, we'd happily return often for a couple's getaway!"

The maintenance and cleaning is to a very high standard, WiFi worked well. It’s well located in a quiet / safe area, pleasant walk to an abundance of great restaurants, cafes and wine bars. Highly recommend a visit, we’ll be back!"

"We had a wonderful stay at The Last Word in Franschoek. Great location which gave us the ability to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and beautiful. The service was above and beyond. Rooms were so comfortable we made ourselves right at home. Our own pool, sitting room, and even a mat to work out with. "
