"We had a room with a large balcony on Bourbon St. It is a bit noisy until about about 3 AM, but the heavy duty room curtains actually helped to block some of the noise and lights out. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. There was a slight mix up with our reservation when we checked in. Otherwise, our stay was very nice. We had a few friends come over and sit out on the balcony and people watch. The jazz club downstairs was playing great music. Very fun!"
"We had a fantastic stay. The staff were so accommodating and the rooms were so unique and clean. The atmosphere throughout the hotel made our stay memorable. We will definitely be returning! "
"Our stay at Hotel Richelieu was absolutely wonderful. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the French Quarter, yet still calm and charming. We were able to walk everywhere while enjoying a peaceful retreat at the end of the day.
The hotel itself is full of character and history, exactly what you hope for in New Orleans. Our room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The courtyard and pool were a true highlight—such a relaxing oasis after a day of exploring.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. This hotel captures the soul of New Orleans: elegant, laid-back, and full of charm.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic French Quarter experience."
"Great place to stay. The room was spotless. Great night scene with jazz shows, gorgeous bar and restaurant. Pity nobody told me that the pool and the entire rooftop were under renovation and were inaccessible."
