Bathroom could use a bleach in shower saw mold in grout , staff absolutely wonderful and room was very neat and clean. Front desk absolutely great helpful can’t say enough ….. Would come back to this hotel ….

Clean room, but location and hotel is very inaccessible- no elevators and very small hallways. Absolutely gorgeous though and right in the heart of the French Quarter!!

The staff were all very nice and rooms were clean. It was a great location, close enough to walk to everything but not loud. Be aware there is no elevator and there are 3 floors. It is a charming building with a beautiful little courtyard.

I had a good view on the balcony and it was very cleaned and nice only thing I wish they had was a refrigerator..

The room was clean. The staff was not helpful at all. We were told they had on site parking when we get there was told by desk we were on our own until we complained enough and they said we could park at another hotel that's 4 blocks away. Toilet didn't flush very well and the room had no charger ports to charge phones. They also should tell guest not to come from 3-4 to check in because there is a school across the street that lets out every day at that time with parents taking all the street parking so no where to park and unload your car. A hotel with this problem should have some staff to help unload so you can move out of the way quickly. We go to New Orleans a couple times a year and will not be back to this hotel.

Great location in the French Quarter. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel itself was a quaint cute boutique hotel with a lot of history. Our room was very small and I’m not sure if the housekeepers were rushed to get it cleaned because we were checking in early or we were just given a room that hasn’t been occupied in awhile. I asked for a balcony room, I wouldn’t have minded paying the difference if it wasn’t in the package I booked, I wanted my granddaughter to have the experience of sitting in the balcony. Over all it was a great stay for her.

Coffee splatter on the walls next to the coffee pot, we had coffee but we didn’t have cups or any condiment packets.

Ice machine was broken. Courtyard fountain was broken. The basic room was ridiculously small. Not sure how some may even be able to get in and or out of the shower as the sink gives minimal too no space. No area for eating, hanging clothes. No microwave or refrigerator. On a positive note the staff was AWESOME!!!! Everyone was so helpful and friendly!! The staff at the Royal Hotel go above and beyond. I even saw one gentleman carry bags up for a lady. I would stay again but would pay to have a suite room

Great location and lots of cafes, restaurants, shops, and bars nearby. The property was undergoing a significant amount of maintenance while we were there. The interior courtyard fountain was never turned on.

We weren't aware that there was no elevator until we checked in. Thankfully I traveled with my husband. There is only one ice machine on the ground floor. The room/ bathroom cleanliness could have been much better. There were several bugs on the windowsill. There were only two available outlets in the bedroom and they were located near the floor. Make sure to have a long charger or extension cord. For two days there were trash bags left near the top of the stairs. Definitely an eyesore but most importantly, a safety hazard. Staff was super friendly, the location was perfect and the balcony view was nice.

Room was dirty and dusty, bathroom was filthy, tub was old and cracked. Both bedside lamps are old and broken. Bed was creaky, ladders in the ice room, why would you put tools in the same place you make ice? Crumbs and dirt stuck to the bottom of my feet. Both night stands are broken.

The bathroom shower floor was covered in pink mold stains and grime. You could see some sort of stain through the sheets of our bedding on the mattress cover. End table had no knob allowing you to open the door to use. Windows covered in dirt and filth. The idea of staying the quarter was something we always wanted to do, but hoped for a whole lot better.

Perry was great. Onlyncomplaint is there wasnt washclothes for our room for 2nd day. Perry gave us 2 extra hand towel to use. Our room was extremely small and had no storage for clothing. All in all. It was cute.
