"Great location, plentiful parking, about 8 mins from park and ride, friendly and helpful staff, only criticism were that one side in the bedroom could have done with a wipe down (easy mistake to make and fix, rest of the room was spotless) and the basins were huge which mean cleaning teeth/face without getting everything wet, was difficult. I would go back however as it was a great hotel and the staff were good."

"Our room was small but spotlessly clean. Whole place feels like it's been fairly recently refurbed and it's "trendy" and attractive. Staff in the pub/restaurant downstairs are lovely and - although we only had some chicken wings as we were heading out for the evening - they were delicious. We weren't aware (possibly our own fault!) that the premises are not staffed overnight and consequently there are no food or drink facilities at breakfast time, aside from the tea/coffee in the room."

"From the moment we arrived the staff couldn’t do enough for us. They let us check in even though we were slightly early and they changed the room to a ground floor one so we didn’t have to climb the stairs. The room was perfect. Clean, spacious and welcoming. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We felt spoilt. "On the whole it was a very enjoyable birthday weekend for myself and my wife. One small comment to make is on the Saturday night we opted for the buffet as opposed to the à la carte. The choice and quality weren’t the best but ok, only then to find out when the time came to pay that the costs were the same for the buffet as they were for the à la carte! Bit naughty really. "

Right from the start we felt welcomed, the room was spotless and the views overlooking the countryside was idyllic.
