"This is by far the most unique and clean hotel i have ever stayed at. This was my 2nd visit to the Castle, and i am planning on making it a annual trip. There is so much to see within the Castle that you will see something new every time you visit. I wish they had this Castle at every location I vacation."

"I took the room as a more affordable option than my usual Marriott stays. I prefer the brand consistency, so this was an exception for me. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, though just not the level of what I usually see at my typical Marriott stays. It's fine for what I needed, a cheap place to stay for one night."

"I would avoid this hotel, unless you absolutely have to stay there. It is off the exit, and then a convoluted, series of turns where it sits alone on a hill. Right away one can see it hasn't been maintained well, and the smell of air fresheners are quite strong. Everything in the room seemed worn down, misaligned, unmaintained. The walls and floors are thin, very cheap build. Bathroom amenities were two small bars of soap, the cheap kind. Breakfast was included, but terrible. One waffle...

"Paul and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Lovely old stately home converted to BnB, with delightful breakfast next day. The suites are large and very comfortable and just dripping with classic furnishings appropriate to a late 19th century stately home."

"This was our first stay at the Stockade Inn and there was filming going on Friday so things were chaotic but the staff was very helpful and we were given a $20 gift card to Arthur’s which we used for breakfast on Saturday. The room had not been vacuumed when we checked in but the staff was quick at responding and gave us a discount too. A new coffee shop opened on Sunday morning and had great bagels and baked goods for sale. Overall we enjoyed our 3 night stay and will return."

"Clerk was helpful in helping me correct a booking error (my fault, booked the wrong night). Room was tidy. But the shower had some hardware issues which was annoying. I’ve stayed at this hotel several times without any serious complaints or concerns."

"Pull into the parking lot and you can tell right away it’s the place to bring a prost itute or find drugs. Was approached by a black man as soon as I stopped my vehicle! Trash and filth surrounding the building. Stained and dirty walls. Stained and dirty sheets, mattress protectors, and mattress. Ancient heater and ac that looked hazardous. Disgusting and unsafe."
