"Don't let the outside looks fool you! Inside is super nice and clean. Mattress is firm and have enough extra blankets. "

"Breakfast had a nice variety but nothing was hot. Room had a “sofa bed” that we needed to use but it did not fold out to a bed so I ended up sleeping on a couch instead of a bed. Several of us tried to figure it out but didn’t see how it classified as a sofa Bed. Staff were pleasant and helpful"

"Negatives: Our room was dingy, outdated, and not cleaned as expected. The doorknob/door didn’t work right and there were almost no plug-ins in the room. The pool/hot tub area was outdated (lots of rust) and had a very strong chlorine smell. Every time we went to the pool there were no towels. It could be hard to get help as staff weren’t regularly at the front desk. Mini-golf was dilapidated and best for very young children. But the toilet backed up, and I told the staff that was outside my room, and they brought me a plunger to do it myself. "Parking is clear and right in front. Well lit too. Turret Room has a full kitchen. Room was clean and has heated floors. There is a fireplace, as well as a fan. Quiet property. "We enjoyed the cottage, especially the electric fireplace with driftwood and the front porch facing the marina. A few repairs might be helpful to refresh cottage #12: the left hand reading light by the queen bed is broken, and there is a sticky stain on the bathroom floor. We were comfortable and slept well while there."

"We had a great stay in the cabin. The hot water was a little scarce, but it was ok. The mattresses on the bunk beds could be thicker. Fine for kids. Adults not so much. Moved to the futon and it was fine. Bathroom lighting could be better. All in all, we enjoyed it and had a great time! The cabin was clean and the yard outside also. Well equipped kitchen. "We were looking to get away to the beach for a few days with our dog and Pacific Dunes was a great fit. The bungalow was clean and comfortable, our dog was welcome and best of all, we loved that we were just steps from the ocean. The location was fantastic!"

"Staff is very accommodating, proximity to the beach is great and I loved that they had a nice facility to clean clams. Unfortunately, our unit was very run down with very limited cookware, beat up/stained furniture, appliances that didn't work, heating that didn't work, no instructions for TV, check-out, etc. Floors were filthy and I even stepped in something gooey left behind by another guest. A good cleaning could go a long way."
