"We had a magical time staying at Ban Rai Tin Thai Ngarm Eco Lodge. This is a family run lodge surrounded by their beautiful garden and the mountains, a paradise away from the city. The hosts are the most hospitable people I have ever met, they made us feel welcome immediately. Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts give advice and maps of the area to explore. My only regret is not staying longer, I never wanted to leave. If you are thinking about booking here, do it, you will not regret it!"

"Hotel itself is a gem, beautiful property! Rooms were large and clean. During our stay the hotel was not busy at all, we hardly saw any other guests. Amenities wise a bit limited I think because there wasn’t many guests so the restaurant/bar closed early, but there is an amazing cafe across the street. "

"Everything was terrible. Room smelled very bad. Door to bathroom was broken. Standing water outside of room. There were many mosquitoes. There was a cage next to front office where rabbits were caged. There were shopping carts on the property next to front office, one was filled with straw. There were bicycles and baby car seats next to front office. Internet had weak connection and could not use it. Front gate was closed on first night at 8:30 PM. Office staff inspected room before refunding my...

"This hotel experience is not reflective of the price and we checked out several days early as had quite simply had enough. It has the potential to be really good but it needs a lot of investment: main issues were: the shower in bathroom not fit for purpose, a cold trickle that did not improve throughout stay, pool looked cold and unclean - no guests used this throughout our time there. Breakfast was similarly cold and badly cooked/poor ingredients. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere (this is...

"This hotel experience is not reflective of the price and we checked out several days early as had quite simply had enough. Breakfast was similarly cold and badly cooked/poor ingredients. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere (this is just an observation as not something that can be rectified) but this meant every trip out and back led to arguments with taxi drivers who wanted double the app set price as they didn’t think it worth their time otherwise. Everything is very dated. The atmosphere of the hotel was depressing, I saw just several other people sitting in silence eating their breakfasts, looking into the distance and I think, wondering like me, when their pain and suffering would be over.
The hotel is not reflective of the pictures or the other reviews in my opinion so I would tread carefully when booking, "
"I took a solo trip to this resort and I must say the staff is very friendly, the resort is very clean, and the food is very good. Btw there is so much stuff to do around the resort I would suggest waiting to book your excursions once you get here. An employee named Tan was very helpful. They also have a beautiful river fall on the resort! Beautiful mountains as well!"
"The place was obviously popular once but hasn't been looked after and is now forgotton by the owners It's full of old furniture that should have been thrown away and walking through reception the smell of mould was strong. My guess is that it was left during COVID and has never recovered. The staff espcially the cleaning and restaurant staff tried really hard to make me feel comfortable but it was largely empty and it felt sad and lonely. I had paid in advance and left a day early. I asked for a refund for the final day but was refused. "
