Great view; friendly staff; very clean. Only complaint would be only 1 very slow elevator for the entire hotel. Also the one night we were tired and were going to eat in the restaurant at the hotel they closed early without notice leaving us to scramble outside the hotel for food with a very tired toddler. Overall we had a very fun vacation.

The hotel has beautiful views, but unfortunately, there were several things that made our stay disappointing. The property feels outdated and could definitely use some updating. The shower had very low water pressure, and the blankets in our room appeared to be a little dirty. The elevators were also a major issue. They were not working more than half of the time, which was extremely inconvenient, especially when trying to get around the hotel. We also ate at the bar, and unfortunately, the food wasn’t very good. The pool area could use more maintenance and cleaning as well, as it didn’t feel as clean as it should have. The beautiful views were definitely the highlight of the hotel, but overall, there are several areas that need improvement, especially cleanliness, maintenance, and the condition of the facilities.

I paid a premium price for this hotel. The price was very comparable to the San Louis Galveston. The San Loui was booked up so decided to try this place out. Absolutely no comparison (other than price). The room was about the size of a large closet. With terrible view and sketchy location with not much security that I was aware of. Don't spend a 5 star price for a 2 star motel.

I've stayed at this location twice before. The first time was in May 2025. The second time was in August 2026. There are two elevators on the property. The main elevator was out of commission in May of 2025. The elevator was out of order in August of 2026 as well. Not to mention that waiting for the elevator in the lobby is a five-minute investment of time. The elevator is so slow that I started using the stairs going down each time. The last day prior to check-out, I was in the elevator. It made a huge jolt and dropped down like an amusement park ride. Then the "out of service" light came on. I thought I was trapped in the elevator. But luckily the doors opened on the 3rd floor. The two other people and I ran off the elevator as fast as we could. I would think twice about booking a room here next year. The front desk staff and the pool are great. Maybe book a first-floor room if you are planning on booking here.

From the moment we enter the building, the staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel room was clean and well stocked. This is definitely the go to hotel while visiting Galveston!
