"We were only there one night, as we were leaving on a cruise the next day. Hotel was very clean. The The desk person was very friendly and greeting. He also gave us directions to the port which made it much easier. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future."

The carpets were kind of filthy and could use the good vacuuming, especially in front of the doors to the rooms and the tables could’ve been wiped off a little better in the rooms and the shower had a little black mold around the bottom, other than that, the place was fantastic. "First time staying at Moody Gardens in Galveston. Stayed one night, didn’t use amenities except dining next to elevators and the food was surprisingly great! I got the veggie burger without cheese and my friend got the green wrap; both were yum! Had the beach view and even though it wasn’t beach per se, it was Schlitterbahn’s view which was epic! Expedia had a great deal for the room and I’d definitely recommend and would book there again."

But, it's in a great location and is staffed by even greater people! The pool area is a big draw. The pool bar is a great place to hang out whether you're 25 or 75!
