"Very comfortable and conveniently located to the Strand, harbor related activities, and many great restaurants. The staff were very friendly, especially Dee. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had a wonderful stay. Parking was convenient and safe. Will definitely return!"

"The Mansion is an incredible experience and historically significant property, having survived the 1900 hurricane in Galveston. The property has been lovingly preserved and the staff were exceptional. On arrival we were met by Aaron who took great care and time to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The Kona Hawaiian coffee is sublime and breakfast was a great conclusion to our stay. Highly recommended."

"The room was clean and spacious, the front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The elevators worked and the A/C was nice and cold. We stayed 1 night prior to a cruise out of Galveston and it had everything we needed and more. Also there’s a Gringo’s nearby and we had a great dinner there."

"An adorable hotel that has a lovely mix of retro design and modern features and nice front desk people but.. PARKING or lack thereof practically ruins the whole vibe especially when there is a live music event on the weekend - you'll have to park across off the busy seawall road and feel uneasy about the safety of your car with all the late nighters whizzing by. NOISE level was high with a room facing the pool (looks like all their rooms do) and the pool seemed overcrowded for its smaller size....

"I booked a room with a few upgrades months before n advance. I got to the property the day of checkin only to be told that they did not have the room available. The upgrades that I had paid for didn’t matter and they had no other room to put me in. If I left and tried somewhere else, the cost would be significantly more at that point. I lost the money that was paid and simply received an apology… not happy at all with the experience. The pictures looked better than the property. It smelled in...

"Tea party was exceptionally clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, elevators ran quickly and efficiently as the entire building from lobbyist corridors was adequately cool. Swimming pool was small and dirty from sand obviously from the beach.However we did not swim."

"Honestly, don't come to this place; it reeks of mildew. I booked a two-night stay but had to rush out just 20 minutes after checking in—the smell was unbearable. To top it off, the sheets were dirty and had human hair on them; it looked like they had just been spread out without being washed. I didn't get a refund, either."

"Very nice! Place was clean, well maintained with updated and pleasant decor. Room was very nice, beds were comfy. Dehumidifiers were in the room which seemed to be a good call being near the Gulf Coast. We didn’t use pool but peaked in. Pool looked very nice and well maintained. Left too early for breakfast but was told they have full breakfast from 7-10 AM. Would definitely stay here again!"
