"My husband and I loved our stay at the Carr Mansion! This historical home was charming, clean, and comfortable. Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. "The air in the room was on full blast and everything in the room was wet. The floors, counter tops, furniture. Woke up the next morning to cockroaches roaming around. Also had to pay another deposit when we checked in. They said we would get it back when we checked out, but in reality it was 5 days. Definitely not worth the $ we spent. Also the pool is a joke it’s about the size of a parking spot. I’m sure it was a last minute decision. Only good thing was waking up to the ocean rt there. Next...

"Dirty place, yellow stains on the bed and sheets, hair everywhere including the bed, sink, and shower. The owner was nice enough to let us switch rooms, but no one was able to sleep after that. Spent $150 for one night. Should’ve shopped around a bit more. There’s better hotels for that price imo."
