"This is our first experience with The Goerge Manor Hotel. We have enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly/helpful. Our room was very comfortable. The transportation from/to IAH airport was very comfortable and luxuries. Thanks so much."

"Spacious room with comfortable bed, bathroom was clean with toilet, shower and sink. Extremely well equipped kitchen and living room - all in beautiful period appropriate furnishings. Great pre arrival instructions. Very convenient to the East End of Galveston. Will book again and encourage family and friends to stay."

"The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff was exceptional had suggestions for whatever we had planned that day. It was our first time in Galveston and didn’t regret one thing. Overall we had a great time and definitely will be returning back again soon. Thanks to Ms. Dee who made our trip more enjoyable."

"Did park, sleep, and shuttle to galveston port. Yes, there was a cost for parking and shuttle, but still much cheaper and easier than trying to park at cruise terminal."

"The hotel was very clean, beds comfortable. Staff very helpful."

"The whole apartment was clean fresh..,the decor was lovely blue is my favorite color…kitchen was stocked with essentials..there is no oven but a stove top… The bedroom was comfortable and big with a patio to sit outside…there is no view other than the apartment building.. Location was perfect walking to the beach was less than 10mins pleasure pier right across the street I most definitely will be back if available in June for my grandson bday weekend"

"We had an excellent stay here before our cruise! We got an ocean view room and it provided great ocean view. Our room had a ceiling fan over the bed and it helped us sleep so much better. Room and grounds were spotless. You do have to pay $15/day to park in their parking lot."

"The room was clean. The AC worked great. The view of the Gulf from our balcony was great. The staff were helpful and courteous. The continental breakfast was very good."

"We love going to the Doubletree. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. We love the pool and the bar out front across the sea wall has the best mixed drinks on the seawall. I would highly recommend the Doubletree. Do anyone wanting to stay on the seawall excellent location and friendly staff and great accommodations."

"Booked last minute. After I booked three minutes later, I went to the property and the staff was so helpful. She went out of the way to make sure that I was situated."
