Overall yes. The pool was having some maintenance and was closed for several of the days. We did have the option to use the sister property’s pool but it was an outdoor pool and it was a little to cool for the outside pool.

They were doing construction, which I understand the manager was super nice and took care of things. The person in the morning I couldn’t find to check out she was sleeping in the back room we had holes in our walls and like I said, I know they’re doing construction.

We don’t typically leave negative reviews, but this experience really needed to be shared. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the property was not in the condition we expected. The hotel appeared to be under construction, with no proper lobby setup—chairs were stacked, dusty, and the front desk itself was makeshift. We arrived early (around noon), and Amanda at the front desk told us she would call when our room was ready. Unfortunately, we never received a call and had to return at 6:30 PM to check ourselves. At that point, we were told the room was available. During check-in, the front desk employee (I believe his name was Ryan) openly complained about being asked to handle housekeeping duties, stating he wasn’t paid to change sheets. While we understand staffing challenges happen, hearing this kind of frustration expressed in front of guests was unprofessional and uncomfortable. The second-floor hallways had a strong urine odor, and the carpets were visibly dirty. The ongoing construction was extensive—not only inside but outside as well. Each time we went to our car, it was covered in dust from the construction, which added to the overall inconvenience. To make matters worse, the phones in the room were not working, so we couldn’t even contact the front desk when needed. The pool was initially closed, and when we were later told it had reopened the next day, there were no towels available, which made using the amenity inconvenient and poorly managed.

We loved the ocean view and breakfast was delicious! It's under construction right now, but they were very accommodating with teaming up with the hotel next door for their Continental breakfast. Very satisfied!

It was under renovation we weren't told anything about it during booking, they had stuff everywhere and had the door to the rooms wide open and anyone could walk in and go to a floor. The keys didn’t work and we had to keep going down to get them fixed. The door WOULD NOT lock and lock was BROKEN and we requested a new room and the new room was dirty with trash left behind. The bathrooms looked so dirty and hair all over. They did not have a breakfast station so in over to enjoy breakfast we had to walk over to the next hotel and eat there. Highly disappointing, we will never stay here, we booked for four days and we cancelled right away. Staff was helpful to get a refund. Also you don’t have a good ocean view.

Pillow had blood on it, sheets had pubic hair, and stains on them, some pillows were make shift out of sheets, no clean towels, and me, and my girlfriend GOT BEDS BUGS, my arms, and hands are on fire, now I have to make a doctors appointment, this entire place needs renovations, not worth almost $400 for 1 days, never again

There was an active remodel underway. There was no breakfast available at this location. You had to walk next door to a different hotel for breakfast. Imagine 2 hotels worth of clients vying for breakfast on a weekend. The bathroom was unsafe to shower. There was no grab bar or anything to grab hold of while getting in or out of the shower. The tub offered no non-slip surface or special floor mat. In fact, my companion slipped in the tub and fell. The room had no hangars. It was as if the room remodel was incomplete. The towels for the bathroom were left on the vanity top…because there were no shelves. The balcony was nice and the birds stayed away from the missing light fixture “hole” while we were outside. The staff did bring extra towels promptly after my companion fell which was appreciated.

We stayed at the Quality Inn & Suites Galveston - Beachfront the night before our cruise. The lobby was under renovations, so check-in was a little different than usual, but the staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel’s location is excellent—close to the beach, several dining options, and even a Walmart, which was convenient for last-minute needs. The drive to the cruise terminal was straightforward and stress-free. Our room was spacious and clean, though nothing particularly special—comfortable enough for an overnight stay. Breakfast was offered at the adjacent hotel, but we didn’t take advantage of it. Overall, it was a convenient and practical choice for a quick stopover before a cruise.

The hotel was under remodel. The room was fine, but we found wet shorts in the cabinet. We are also found a wet towel soaked in the shower. The room was never checked the three days we stay there our trashcan was overflowing. I had stayed here before and I had no problem. The good thing is the hotel is directly across from the beach with a good view. It’s a great location with a Kroger‘s right next-door in a Walmart mile away.

had a beach view looking over Mc Donalds. but the bad part was the whole bottom floor where check in was, was under construction and we were not told. had to walk next door for brk and it was packed due to serving both hotels. no where to sit. floors in the room were filthy. kids and i had black feet. guest staff was very friendly though.

The hotel was under major construction. Paint stains and dirt all over the property. Not to mention construction workers. If i would have known about the renovation I would have definitely chosen another hotel

In order to see the beach view from the balcony you had to hang over the balcony. Construction noise is awful throughout the day. Fire alarms all day long and throughout the night with people showing.

Renovations underway are the reason for my low stars. Once renovations are complete, I have no doubt this property will be amazing. But full renovations were in full effect and there were literally no amenities. Their Sister company is right next-door so we were able to get coffee and breakfast. We also were able to use their outdoor pool. The staff was amazing. And I’m not sure, maybe someone was smoking in their room but two nights in a row their extremely loud in room fire alarm went off at 11 PM. Although we were able to check in early, I’m quite sure the room was not cleaned. The floor was littered with mess. Beach access was great.

Soooo this property is under construction and it is mass chaos. One person is working the lobby with construction crews, tools, all sorts of things are also going on. I went down for towels and wash clothes and waited probably 15-20 minutes. When someone finally came down to get them, the guy told me someone else would be taking care of that and walked away. It was odd. Our first night there at 10:30, there were people banging on our door twice. I alerted guest services and she said she would walk the hall. Not convinced that happened. Then, a few minutes later the fire alarm was going off. It was an exhausting night. The phones in room didn’t work, one light switch was practically coming off the wall. The mattress was dirty but did have a mattress cover.
