"The room smelled of mildew. Our clothes took on the mildew smell also. The bathroom fixtures were corroded and scratched. The vanity light had been replaced with a smaller light which showed the painted outline of the old larger light. There were scratches on the walls with plaster/drywall showing. "Excellent bar - great espresso martini. Classy hotel all the way around. Had a great corner room with excellent views. Only problem was very loud noise from some kind of concert across from the Galvez in an open lot. Lasted until 1am then started again around 9am Saturday morning - it was an annoyance."
