"The front desk ladies were so welcoming and inviting to us! We told them it was our 34th anniversary, and they surprised us by upgrading our room to one facing the park. The view was beautiful! We absolutely loved the room. It was decorated in the era of the hotel when it was originally built, which gave it so much charm and character. We really enjoyed the history and atmosphere. The breakfast was great, parking was easy, and the hotel is conveniently located near coffee shops, restaurants, and parks. We had such a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back!"

"Building has charm and character. Room was clean and well maintained. Proximity to Granville and college is fantastic - both in easy walking distance (as in a few minutes). Breakfast is more than adequate if in a hurry, but it’s better not to miss the local options as they are so close! Note that there wasn’t a lot of working space in our room for laptops etc, but they have a nice little study for that kind of thing. Would look forward to staying there again and recommend to others."

"My children had a blast! They didn't want to leave the hotel! We arrived very late due to weather and traffic. I was able to message the hotel directly to let them know our eta. They responded quickly to the message. On arrival they were able to quickly check us in (plus it was during a bad thunderstorm.) Only 2 things that could be worked on- The Wi-Fi would not work after the first night. The 1st night the storm was so bad a lightning bolt must of hit the roof making the walls shake like a truck fell on the building or tornado was happening. Making the electricity go out for a moment. It set off a siren. That followed up with a loud beeping sound, which went off every 10mins it seemed. We had no clue what was going and there was no follow up by staff or intercom etc. but didn't see anyone else come out of the rooms and the lights came back on so we figured it was ok. We couldn't sleep the rest of the night. No staff said anything to us the next morning regarding it. That is also when the wifi stopped working. It would have been nice for someone to announce something. The hotel location is in Ohio which, have frequent tornadoes. We are not from a area that do to often. Oh, bring your own pool towels! They do have some but are the size of a hand towel."
