Don’t trust the pictures!

Big potential. Misses all the details. Beds broken. Shower broken. No warm water in sink. Signs towards a restaurant on the roof; not there. Picture of beach-bar; no such bar, etc. Glass on the beach. Staff ignorant or just don’t care. Branded with slogans such ”Luxury at its finest”. Couldn’t be more far from the truth. A nice 3-star hotel. Nothing fancy, but when the hotel tries to be a ”luxury resort” everything falls. Lots of trophies on display. Not sure how they got them? The good? The diving center next door!

Amazing stay

I had an amazing stay here! The hotel and my room was really nice and a good value for money. There’s a private beach right by the hotel which is really quiet and beautiful and all the staff have been super welcoming, kind and helpful. I also did a lot of diving with them which i can totally recommend too. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

Hotel sympa, personnel gentil mais menage fait De manière approximative dans les chambres. Il faut réclamer plusieurs fois avant d'obtenir gain de cause. J'ai changé 3 fois de chambres parce que les lits sont infesté de mites et je me suis retrouvée avec des piqûres sur tout le corps. Petit déjeuner pas top. les plats du restaurant sont chers et pas fameux. tout est taxé dans l hotel. Il faut payer jusqu'à la bouteille d'eau une pause au client sur la table sans même leur avoir demandé au préalable. Le cadre était sympathique, la plage était belle mais pour le reste sans plus

Un bell'hotel immerso nella natura

Siamo stati con la mia ragazza in questo hotel a marzo e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Il personale è molto cordiale (forse ancora poco abituati ai turisti) la posizione è eccellente in quanto ci si trova a 50 m dal mare, ma credo che alle maldive sia scontato. La struttura non è lussuosa, ma credo che quando si và in vacanza in quei posti sia un aspetto trascurabile. Non ha niente che gli manca, a parte delle zanzariere alle finestre che io farei mettere di corsa! C'è la disponibilità di attrezzatura per fare snorkeling gratuitamente ed anche delle tavole da surf (del tipo largo, non so il nome tecnico) e delle canoe. Altra attrezzature per fare immersioni con delle escursioni a pagamento. Il fatto che non sia un'isola frequentatissima, ci ha dato la possibilità di vivere una vacanza in relax ed intimità e questo ci è piaciuto molto!

Personale giovane e sempre molto disponibile, struttura comoda pulita e silenziosa, ottima cucina locale, consiglio come gita la pic nic island un vero paradiso. Se volete fare solo lo snorkeling evitate di affidarvi al diving locale poco professionale e troppo caro. Lo snorkeling lo potete fare in tutta tranquillità per conto vostro di fronte alla struttura oppure quando andate alla citata pic nic island. una cosa da fare SUBITO all'arrivo è prenotare il volo di rientro. lasciate la mancia. Young and always very helpful staff, clean and quiet comfortable structure, excellent local cuisine, I recommend a picnic trip as a paradise. If you want to do just snorkeling, do not rely on the local diving unprofessional and overpriced. You can snorkel in peace on your own in front of the structure or when you go to the pic nic island. one thing to do NOW upon arrival is to book the return flight. leave a tip.

Mukava ja siisti pieni hotelli omalla rannalla.

Oma ranta? Check. Oma riutta? Check. Sukelluskeskus? Check. Sydämellinen palvelu ja viiden tähden siisteys? Check. Paikallisten asuttamalla saarella asuminen oli mielenkiintoista. Resortit tarjoavat persoonatonta luksusta. Reveries tarjoaa tasokasta asumista ja palvelua lähellä (ja halutessasi osana) paikallista yhteisöä. Kalastusveneiden odotteleminen satamassa paikallisten kanssa ja tuoreen kokonaisen tonnikalan ostaminen suoraan kalastajilta oli erityinen kokemus, jota tuli harrastettua useampana päivänä reissun loppuvaiheessa. Kiikutin kalat Reveriesin kokille. Hän grillasi, paistoi ja teki maukasta sashimia. Parasta! Kävimme lähes joka päivä sukeltamassa paikallisilla kohteilla. Sukeltajia oli maksimissaan kahdeksan. Kiireettömyys, joustavuus ja henkilökohtaisuus sekä tietenkin upeat sukelluskohteet olivat todella hieno kokemus.

Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällisiä ja ruoka tosi hyvää, iso kiitos siitä. Hotellin tarjoamat palvelut olivat ykkösluokkaa ja ne olivat monipuolisia. Sijainti oli rauhallinen ja vieressä oleva yksityinen ranta oli luksusta. Toivottavasti pääsemme joskus uudestaan.

Definitely a gem for budget vacation

Best hotel in Gan island, location is just spectacular. Hotel has private beach area because of the time we travel is has only 3 guest so we had the entire one side of the beach to ourselves. Hotel food was good, room service was available and we used it couple of time. Pool was not accessible first couple of days but who needs one when you have amazing beach a min away. We walked around and enjoy local foods, beware it can be pretty hot when away from beach area. Hotel room was clean, specious. Bathroom was nice, clean and had a rain shower. Our room was facing beach, that was a plus. Travel around feb-april, manager told us that is the slowest time.

Tra alti e bassi, mare fantastico ma..

L'hotel è una struttura in stile europeo, quindi ci si aspetterebbe che fosse più "solido". Premetto che io sono particolarmente intollerante ai rumori, ma ogni mattina, venivo svegliato da rumori. La struttura è metà aperta, e quindi il muezzin alle 5 del mattino mi svegliava ogni giorno. Seguono poi le necessarie e gradite pulizie, ma i rumori si sentono anche in stanza. A questo devo aggiungere la "pessima" idea di realizzare lavori di demolizione e ripavimentazione di alcune stanze mentre ero ospite dell'albergo. Praticamente dovevo "fuggire" dall'albergo per il rumore. Purtroppo questo è stato un punto dolente della mia vacanza, che seppur bella, perchè siamo alle Maldive, non ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative (se si pensa ad un viaggo alle Maldive si pensa al silenzio, alla tranquillità etc.). Ad esempio, non appena sono arrivati ospiti ad occupare la stanza di sopra, la condensa del loro condizionatore ha prodotto un tintennio continuo di acqua dal condizionatore di sopra che batteva nel muro della mia stanza (in pratica il classico rumore del lavandino tutta la notte). Il personale è cordialissimo, sempre pronto a cercare di accontentarvi. C'è un generale problema di rifiuti nell'isola. L'hotel è quasi al limite dei villaggi, di fronte al mare, e soffre meno questo aspetto, ma tutte le spiagge pubblica (stupenda quella a nord della spiaggia privata) sono comunque invase da rifiuti (attenzione ai vetri rotti ed alle lamiere delle scatolette).

Amazing scuba!

The best about our stay was the scuba diving and snorkeling. The dive center at the hotel was very accommodating, professional and friendly. And there are no words to describe the underwater scenery. Both the house reef and the actual diving trip are definitely something to remember! I wish i could go back immediately. The hotel staff was very friendly and the services were ok, even if not over the top. The surrounding area of the hotel as well as the picnic location require some serious clean up. Luckily the hotel itself and the beach were kept in really nice order. I would definitely go there again.

Very nice and cheap Maldives hotel

Had an amazing stay at Reveries. If you want to see Maldives and don't want to stay at the very expensive resorts, this is the place to stay at. Reveries still makes you feel like you're staying at a pricier hotel at the fraction of the cost. The staff is very helpful too and will attend to your every need.

Hotel very close to the beach

Staying at this hotel was one of the most wonderful experiences I have ever had. The personnel is very nice, the rooms are clean, the food is great and the natural environment is amazing. We were two girls travelling independenly and we did not encounter any problems, even though when we travelled it was the election period (described by international media as not being very safe). everything was just perfect.

Reveries not a vacation destination

Lone hotel in the middle of nowhere. We stayed here for a few days after a scuba diving liveaboard, waiting to fly home. Was good for this. But hotel is in the middle of broken down village with not too much to do, not a vacation spot. Staff was very good.
