"The rooms were decent and clean. On first day we had problems with not getting cold water at faucet, we thought someone was in the room because the TV was on until we figured out the TV doesn't turn off unless you unplug it (The girl at the front gave me a reason, but it didn't make sense), the volume on TV didn't work, and new led was needed for lamp it flickered. There were several people smoking outside the door and my husband was offered a toke in front of our kids. The breakfast was okay...

"We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The only exception was we were told to not stand on the balcony for the parade. There was no signage that stated that we couldn't and the manager who told us to leave during the parade wasn't kind. He took photos of us after we left and began watching the parade from the street. The amenities that were especially useful were the free water and coffee stations they had daily. Also, the proximity to everything was fantastic. We were able to walk everywhere...

Great hotel for the location and history. The property is gorgeous, charming, and full of character. It is close to everything, so you really do not need a car once you arrive. The hotel offers on-site parking, porters, and concierge help with luggage. The pool is clean, cozy, and relaxing, and the guest crowd seemed quieter and higher-end.
That said, there are issues. Parking is $60/night, and the parking staff were not very friendly. It often felt like...
