"Location was perfect for Tamworth Town, as soon as I arrive quite late in the evening I was greeted by a friendly smile and the WIFI code was given to me as a priority, perfect no one want to hunt or ask for the code. Keys were explained for access, I decided to have a pint or two before bed, the locals in the bar were extremely friendly and included me in their conversations, made me feel very welcome. "Absolutely spot on. We expected quite simple / basic accommodation and were pleased to find it as anticipated - a small cabin like bedroom simply fitted out but completely adequate and spotlessly clean. We didn't arrive until just after 8pm but were cheerfully greeted by a very helpful Chris (despite him being towards the end of a busy day for him - when we arrived he was part of a small team clearing up after a wedding or birthday celebration of some size). He directed us towards a nearby place...

"Room was clean and adequate! Very noisy outside with some generator or something like that. So had to close windows and felt a bit stuffy. Breakfast was top class"

"I found the staff wonderful. They were very helpful and accommodating. I had issues with my sink ( my own fault ) and they came within minutes to sort it. I had a great bunch of coffee and tea in the room which was very helpful as I love a good coffee. The room was very clean. You could hear things as it’s a pub but I slept great still. Love the free parking. I didn’t get any signal"

"Booked as we had an early flight from East Midlands airport. Owner met us soon after we arrived. Nice room, great comfy bed, very good shower. Advised there was a good restaurant just down the road (15 min walk) which we visited and had a very tasty meal. Left in the morning too early for breakfast, but not host’s fault. Very good nights sleep. Plenty of parking. Road to airport a bit narrow and windy, but we made it in plenty of time. Would recommend."
