"The standard of accomodation came as a great surprise. Everything was immaculate. Very spacious beautifully decorated bedrooms. Very friendly and helpful host Orla made check in flawless. Would definitely recommend. Continenal breakfast had lots of choice from beautiful fresh berries and other fruits, fresh yogurts, cereals, and a selection of breads,jams etc very good."

Arriving by car, there is a massive amount of parking available together with numerous disabled spots close to the main entrance. "Beautiful property and the rooms were air conditioned! I did think we would be staying in a castle, but apparently the castle is closed and under renovations being prepared to become an actual hotel, and the monastery onsite was also fenced off, so you couldn’t access the inside of it. If you want to golf, this is the place! Also the food was mediocre and expensive, and our dinner took a total of 2 hours from the time someone took our order to the time someone cashed us out."

"The hotel was very nice! The rooms were very clean. The staff was exceptionally helpful. We enjoyed the free breakfast, which was buffet style so you could get exactly what you want. The only negative part is that there was no air conditioning and our room was very warm, but that is to be expected in Ireland. Overall, it was very, very good."

"We had a one night stay here on our way to Dublin. The hotel has a beautiful foyer and the reception staff member was very welcoming. Our room was spacious and faced the complimentary car park. We were surprised by the lack of air conditioning and absence of a bar fridge. Maybe this had something to do with our room rate. Included buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would recommend this hotel."
