Ravelston House
The mattress on the bed was terrible for me (felt like a really old sprung mattress, with little support). No breakfast on weekdays, which is a pain. Otherwise the room and bathroom were fine. Didn't use the pub downstairs but looked fine.

Pine Marten, Dunbar by Marston's Inns
The room was clean but fairly basic. Breakfast on the first day the service was very slow and on our second day several items on the breakfast bar had run out and we had to ask for them to be replenished as the staff were not attentive.
