River Ness Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Would 100% book again."

B&B HOTEL Inverness
4/10 Poor
"The B&B was in a good location. It was clean. However, the front desk staff did not know the area and were useless in providing guidance to tourists. We were asked if we wanted our room cleaned at any point during the stay and we said yes to one day. We reminded them in the morning. The room was never cleaned - no fresh towels, paper, etc. We did not see one cleaning cart during our 3 day visit. No telephones in the room so you have to go to the front desk for assistance. The breakfast was weak at best. They need to do better for the prices they charge."

Caledonian Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I didn't have breakfast but everything else was very good"

The Royal Highland Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Room was clean and staff was helpful in getting a taxi to the airport booked for me. It was more of a transit hotel than I had realized. It is connected to a train station and across the street from the busses. I also wish the door had an additional latch or deadbolt, as a female solo traveler I was uncomfortable not having that."

Tulloch Castle Hotel
8/10 Good
"The idea of staying in a castle in Scotland was great. When we got there it didn't disappoint in that it had the character of a castle and wandering around the place was nice. The bar area was also very warm and comfortable and the cooked breakfast was good. The additional breakfast bits like the cooked pastries though were hard. Overall, the place was good but i felt it would be even better if it had a new lick of paint as it looked slightly tired in places. Glad we stayed there and was a good place to start our journey for our trip."

Columba Hotel Inverness by Compass Hospitality
4/10 Poor
"This hotel is run down and tired. While the rooms seem to have. been updated they lack any ornamentation at all to make you feel welcome . just bland boxes. there are no outlets by the bed for plugging in phones or other devices. The hallways are threadbare and seem to need more regular vacuuming. Half of the faucets in the ladies room didn't work. My room was noisy and rubbish taken out in the back byy window woke me up each morning at 6 am. I'd never stay there again."

Inverness Palace Hotel & Spa, WorldHotel Distinctive
4/10 Poor
"We deliberately booked this venue as they boasted 6 new EV chargers. They wrote to us in the days before we arrived and again highlighted the chargers. We were therefore very surprised when we got there to learn that they weren't working and apparently hadn't worked for some time. There was however one charger that was working but it was occupied. The next day it was again occupied by the same car and this happened again the following day. When we asked if the car could be moved as it would obviously now be full we were told no and that in fact belonged to a staff member! For a hotel to market amenities that it does not in fact have operational is bad enough but then for a staff member to hog the one actual resource that many customers wanted is, in my view, completely unacceptable. Mark Scobbie, the general manager of the hotel's owner, solicited feedback by way of a stock email after our stay and I fed this back to him. That feedback was completely ignored hence the need to write here. Overall a very disappointing customer service experience."

Waverley Guest House
2/10 Terrible
"Basic place to stay and the price was outrageous for being so basic. They tried to update the rooms but unfortunately it was a big failure. Musty smell, window wouldn’t open the shower door didn’t close and flooded the floor. The hot water booster was either scalding or freezing. This place is best for a hostel vs 150£."

Loch Ness Clansman Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice hotel. Easy to locate and park. The food was excellent"
