"Pros The hotel was clean, organized and welcoming. The location was the best part. Right next to the zoo, balboa park, and walking distance to restaurants. I liked the room separation for bedtime. Cons: Parking - it wasn’t clearly stated in posting that it would be $50 a night for self park and $70 for valet. The drive way for self park is intense. It is a very tight and windy path. There were A LOT of scratches on the sides of people hitting their cars against and I felt dizzy doing that...

"At first after traveling it's not the usual check in that we are all accustomed to, but once tht was out of the way, I loved everything about this hotel. This was a solo trip for a tattoo and the location is prime. Other than the tattoo I've spent most my time on Coronado island because it's so close, but instead of paying thousands of dollars I paid hundreds. "A really nice hotel and very comfortable. My one recommended area of improvement / elevated care would be for the shared amenity closet on my floor (2nd floor) could have been better maintained. One day there were no clean coffee cups, another day no water.
