"The room was ok,Great location. It was only 8 minute walk to the ballpark and right on the edge of the gaslamp quater. I did like the fact that it had a kitchenette with a large fridge and that made it convenient for drinks and snacks. It also had a small stove top but I could only imagine what the room would be like if someone fried food or made something smelly in the room. I thought it was kind of strange in that area. It was kind of noisy on the street outside, sounded like cars racing....

"I am so glad that I got to spend time here this weekend. The hotel is calming and immaculate. The gym is one of the nicer facilities I have experienced at a hotel as well (along with the pool and spa). The text feature worked well to get an extra bathrobe and towels the first night, and there are thoughtful touches like chocolates and a Bluetooth speaker in the room. There is also an espresso machine in each room. I would love to keep coming here for any future trips to SD."

"Excellent place to stay in downtown San Diego, it is very close to Petco Park and many restaurants and bars. The staff was helpful and courteous, the daily breakfast is great and the check in and check out process were painless."

"Resort like property with island vibes. Very bustling though if that is not your thing. Check-in was unfriendly, rude, and unkind. Set the trip off on a bad note. Otherwise excellent stay and convenient location."

"Hotel Narcissus was great. Room 6 was fantastic. Two floors, big bed, full kitchen. Check in and check out were smooth. It is in quite a sketchy location though. Be aware! I don't recommend walking to the nicer part of town from the hotel... Get a Uber!"
