"Beautiful hotel with intricate interior throughout which is a wonderful setting to base a stay in Bruges. The hotel is run by John and Michael who are the most incredible hosts, with nothing too much trouble and an incredibly warm welcome. We arrived late on a Friday evening but we're greeted and shown to our room with lots of information about the city. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of choice and high quality fresh ingredients from yoghurt, fruits, granola, breads and pastries, eggs...

"The quadruple family room was spacious and clean and well equipped for everything we needed. The hotel is well located to walk to the main sights and across the town, very close to the grote markt, and lots of nice restaurants while still being quiet. "We loved this hotel the location was amazing so close to everything. The staff were amazing and helpful. The only warning to note is there are stairs and no elevator, the stairs are steep and if you are travelling all the way from Australia and likely travelling with large luggage the you may want to ask for ground floor in booking or make sure you have someone to help get the luggage upstairs we have to go up 3 flights of stairs not easy. Doable but not easy. There is no air conditioner but...
