"Everything was absolutely great! I got great comments about how nice the place was. My room was very tasteful and adequately sized. I loved, loved, loved my stay. I hopped on the bus to get around. Parking wasn't too bad a few blocks away. Within walking distance of a couple restaurants I like and Hennepin Ave! My room was very clean every day when I came back. I interacted with polite staff. Just terrific!"

"I was in town for a funeral, and the weather was unusually bad. The staff managed to make these unrelated events happier for me. Melina at reception always upbeat, attentive and was able to accommodate my early arrival, even placed me in a room with a view. The dining area manager George was easygoing and funny. "Room had a musty odor the entire time and shower head is in need of replacement (sprayed everywhere and was not enjoyable). Only had one person checking out in the morning and had to wait a decent amount of time. I told him about the odor but he was frazzled with customers and phone ringing that I doubt anything will be addressed with the room. I’d recommend avoiding room 585. "

"Location was great. Staff was great. Mattress was comfortable but very high off the ground. Entire hotel showed some wear and tear but was clean: kitchen flooring was warped and planks were loose, hvac unit located in closet in bedroom was a bit loud but did keep it cool, the microwave had loose/repaired handle, sofa had upholstery damage on one corner, the hallways were very warm. Very, very strong air freshener perfume in the room. WiFi was good for remote work."

"The property is clean and well maintained given that it is an old building with a fun past! The hotel is located in the business part of downtown so it was quieter that other areas. The hotel staff was attentive. Mike is an EXCELLENT bartender and gave great recommendations for dinner options that were within walking distance.
