"Booked as was staying for the marathon weekend. Wasn’t ideal that we were left awake until 3am due to a bar of sorts at ground level was open and extremely loud (not saying this isn’t the norm on a Saturday night but we were 7 flights up and the window did nothing in the way of soundproofing unfortunately). "Ons verblijf was erg aangenaam. Bij aankomst kregen we zelfs een upgrade van een king room naar een ruime penthousekamer, wat een mooie verrassing was. "This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. "The perfect start to our holiday
After a 3 hour train journey we relaxed in the bar and enjoyed a delicious meal. There was a great atmosphere in the bar which was busy but the service was very efficient. Our room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The automated check-in and check-out was impersonal but meant we didn't have to queue at reception to check in.
