"I did not get my check in instructions ahead of time and was locked out on the first night. I had to pay 244 euros for a hotel. Neither summer day nor Expedia would refund me. Fraud as they blamed each other. The internet did not work in my room and the person who responded could only say “good luck”. Horrible place to stay. Would not recommend either summer day or Expedia. "

"The Eyja staff were wonderful… friendly, informative and courteous. The rooms were cozy and quiet. We enjoyed being able to walk to a local coffee shop down the street and having access to a market around the block. We would highly recommend this hotel."

I had easy access into downtown as well as not having to fight traffic to get out of town to the countryside. Staff were quick to respond to any questions or requests I had. No noise issues and felt very safe. "
