"The hotel is located on the mountain and the view of lake Lugano is spectacular. As it turns out, the rest of the experience was less so. We arrived around 10pm and by then, the kitchen was closed. The staff reluctantly served us drinks while at the same time wiping tables and closing down - despite the fact that the bar was supposed to stay open for another 30 minutes. Leider werden wir dennoch von einem weiteren Besuch absehen. Da wir erst nach 17 Uhr im Hotel angekommen sind, haben wir für die Nutzung des Spa-Bereichs 55 € pro Person gezahlt. Very cute town with lovely views. The room was spacious and clean and we were provided with really useful stuff for our stay including a hair dryer and adaptor plug. Only negative would be that the bus service was a bit confusing however this is not the fault of the B&B at all and they included bus information and...

"This hotel is in an excellent location in Moltrasio, with the lake and ferry wharf on the other side of the road. Parking is available a short distance away. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were good. The air conditioning was very good."

"A beautiful hotel with amazing staff and a great breakfast. Absolutely beautiful view. It's right next to a ferry stop. Some issues with the wifi/cell reception but talking to others makes it seem like an area rather than a hotel issue."

"Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff were very kind and helpful. Be aware of the road if you’re traveling from Lugano - the hotel is located up on the mountain and roads were pretty tight and steep curved turns for about 20-25 minutes."

"This property was designed for people who love details and appreciate a beautiful asthetic. The service was excellent there and there is a winery in walking distance (unfortunately, we did not get to experience it). Morcote is very very charming but it is so isolated. They have weddings frequently in the castle (attached to the winery) and the hotel is often booked for wedding guests so we were lucky we got to experience one day of it."
