"Good location and nice new hotel but service was not the best. FB staffs need more training and be more hospitable, also check in staffs can be trained to be more informative. Also during my stay there is loud renovation noise going on. "

"Two comments : Air conditioning at room 3405, was bit too cold. Despite changing many times (incl hotel technicians) it keeps at below 23. Normally, 23 is fine but it felt much lower than 23. Stayed 5 nights and the breakfast menu was the same. Would be nice if can alter a bit. But overall, The Millen is my choice to go and I’ll be back the next time. "

"We stayed for 4 days enjoying the kind and thoughtful hospitality provided by Brendan Hamid and Hamada. The recently restored bungalow was fully equipped, very comfortable and had lovely touches like a library of recent books on Penang history its buildings and gardens, flora and fauna. We stayed in a large room on the ground floor which was spotless. The views from the balcony of Georgetown and Butterworth were wonderful. "Check in was simple, accomodating and hospitable. The place was elegant and very nicely decorated, clearly well-thought out. It had a lot of history. The room was smaller than I expected. The bed and bedding was comfortable and clean. The crew were very helpful and quick. Two small notes, room cleaning was a bit late (I arrived from hospital around 1pm and my room was not cleaned yet) and I hoped they improved the breakfast food. "I would definitely recommend this hotel to visitors of Georgetown. It is a charming and quaint hotel. It is in a great location and the hotel staff are beyond gracious and hospitable. The morning breakfast was also delicious. My only one (small) heads up is to avoid using their 3rd party laundry service. I was not pleased with things in that sense. Otherwise, it was great experience!"
