"Initially stayed in an apartment with 1 bedroom and sofa bed but due to air conditioning not working they couldn't fix (staff were great and tried fixing as soon as we emailed), so we ended up moving to a different apartment which was much better. The first had an odd layout in that the only bathroom was inside the main bedroom, so anyone staying on the sofa bed would need to go through the bedroom to use the bathroom which isn't ideal when you get up frequently in the night! "The hotel is in a great location close to shops and restaurants. It was clean and a highlight was the free breakfast they provide. We booked a suite, which we found out was not in the main building but a block away. It's a 3 story walk up (no elevators). The reason for the 3 star review is Lorenzo, the desk clerk. He was rude, unhelpful and dismissive when presented with issues. Because of his rudeness I cannot recommend this hotel to any travelers."

"The apartment was perfect for our first night in Bologna. Checking in in the late evening wasn't a problem, and our host was super responsive to text. We never met anyone in person, but it was fine because we received quick and detailed responses to any questions we had.
