Villa Sigurata II

"We had a wonderful stay! Ramona is a very kind, friendly hostess who provided us with great information on restaurants, the wall, museums, etc. The Villa is in excellent condition, very clean and very comfortable. The air conditioning was perfect. So convenient to be inside the walled city. We also appreciated the pick-up at the airport and drive to our cruise ship. We highly recommend staying at Villa Sigurata II."

"Its a bit tricky to find and at the opposite end of Old Town, so long haul with the luggage. But once you do find it by foot, the location is amazing! Was loud my first night from a party outside my ground floor window, but it didn’t go too late. Great little bakery at the end of the walking street/alley. Quick morning pick up for coffee and cheap breakfast. My room was quaint. Clean, modern enough furniture/decor to pass, shower door kept coming off the rollers letting water out while showering, and one plug kept coming out of the wall every time I unplugged anything. Although annoying, easy compromise for age of the building and location of property. Hotel is in a great area to explore at night. I felt safe after all the tourists left and wandered around the quiet of Old Town alone. With nobody around later evenings, the area is simply put, stunning! Note; single female travellers, the alleys/streets in old town have a lot of dark crevices and off shoots around this property’s front door. (That’s the girl dad safety side of me in this review.) So other then the crappy walk with my luggage to find the hotel in the heat and not being able to find it easily. Those are my biggest complaints about booking here. I would book here again."

"Si bien situé, à quelques pas de 3 endroits où il est possible de se baigner et directement dans la vieille ville. L’hôte est accueillante, elle nous conseille dès notre arrivée et demeure disponible. La chambre a un cachet « ancien » ce qui lui confère un style qui convient au l’endroit. Nous avons littéralement adoré!"

"We stayed at Hotel Sumratin for five nights and had a fantastic experience. As a new hotel, everything is finished to a very high standard. The rooms, public areas and facilities were all spotless, and the attention to cleanliness throughout our stay was excellent. The service was consistently friendly and professional, and the hotel grounds and restaurants were beautifully maintained. The breakfast and dining options were of a high quality, and there are also plenty of great local restaurants right on the doorstep if you want to explore. The location is one of the hotel's biggest strengths. It's ideal if you want easy access to Dubrovnik's Old Town without having to stay in the middle of the crowds. You can enjoy the beautiful coastline and a much more relaxed atmosphere, while still being only a short journey from all the main attractions. There's also a supermarket just a couple of minutes' walk away, which is really convenient. The only minor criticism is the rooftop pool. While it's a lovely space with great views, it's quite small for a hotel of this standard and can feel a little limited during busier times. That said, it's a very minor point in what was otherwise an excellent stay. We couldn't really fault the hotel, and if we return to Dubrovnik, we'd happily stay here again or somewhere very close by. Highly recommended."

"Clean rooms with comfortable beds in a great location, so was good value. Aircon and fridge was very helpful. Only slight issue was shower head fixture was broke so you had to operate that yourself but that was fine"
Prijeko Palace

"It took us a bit to find this place. Be prepared to walk 4 minutes with your luggages and then up some cobblestone flights of stairs. The location has an elevator, but you have to go up a flight to get to it, and our room is another flight of stairs after the elevator. Mattia at reception was very helpful and friendly. The room is spacious, with some eclectic art pieces. The views from the room is amazing; you can see 3 sides of the wall from the windows! We finally found a shower door that doesn’t get water everywhere! We did need tissues that they didn’t offer. The room offers robes, but no slippers. The Prijeko Palace is inside the Dubrovnik wall, and everything is easily accessible. I had a bad experience at our first breakfast. I asked the reception if I can take my breakfast outside. She said to go find a seat, and she’ll let the wait staff know and he will come and give me the menu. Another couple came a few minutes later. The waiter came out and acknowledged that other couple and gave them their menus and got their orders, all the while, ignoring me. When he went back in, I walked inside to ask for the menu. The reception lady gave me a menu and told me that the waiter will come out to take my order. Another few minutes went by, the waiter came out to give the other couple their drinks, but didn’t come to my table before going back inside! I went back inside to place my order. Btw, they also do not do anything special for any celebrations unless you pay for it."
