We had drinks on the terrace, sat in the dinning room at a window that opened onto the canal, and had nightcaps in the library. The woman who was running it was friendly and helpful. "Beautiful hotel with amazing staff and food. Location is ideal. Only negative was the restricted access to the toilet. In order to fit a more luxurious jacuzzi bath, space was sacrificed for the toilet which was wedged in a small space with high sides on either side. Having said that, I would absolutely stay there again. "
