"The hotel was modern and well located on the edge of Chinatown. Steps from Chinatown MRT and Maxwell MRT (easy access to Orchard Rd shopping). Two large hawker markets nearby. Standouts - massive pool and loungers, floor to ceiling windows, blackout blinds. Some have talked about the small rooms and bathrooms, limited storage. We were two guys. Two single beds. Had no issues at all. Beds had lots of space underneath to store and access luggage. Would recommend and would stay again. Good value."

"I am hesitant to review this hotel, which is marketed as a 4 to 5-star establishment, as it falls short of those expectations. Upon our late evening arrival, there was no assistance with our luggage, nor was there anyone available to guide us to the reception. This was my first visit to this particular hotel in Singapore. However, we had access to the Premier Lounge, where the staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful. I cannot commend them enough and would certainly give them a positive review. Our room was unremarkable, akin to what one might expect in a 3 to 4-star hotel. While it was maintained very clean, the bathrooms were outdated and lacked a bidet. My wife, being from Asia, is accustomed to such amenities, especially in a 4 or 5-star hotel in the region."

"The property is well maintained. The room is very clean and in excellent condition. The staffs are friendly, courtesy and willing to help. The location is good,and within walking distances to major attractions, shopping malls, restaurants and transportation hubs."

"Overall, we think this hotel is good value. Things that we liked- the common kitchen, complimentary tea/coffee, gym, availability of laundry machines, water cooler to provide chilled water, rooms were mostly comfortable and clean. However, improvements could be made to make the rooms outstanding, one of which is to put more hooks on the walls to make up for lack of counter space."

"The Filipino lady up front at the desk was reqlly really friendly. Bus station 2-minute walk, with the direct buses straight to the airport and the city . 12 minute walk away is the PLQ mall and main metro station . PLQ mall has all the shops. This hotel is located on same Street as the paranakan houses which is a heritage site. Hawker stalls are all over this place. I had breakfast at "what the puff "... Be careful at these rooms are very small... I take managed to get the bigger room which can fit your suitcase on the floor.. the smaller rooms had no room for large suitcases. Bathrooms were nice and big and very modern . When we were allowed to use the swimming pool in the sister hotel next door. Overall, this place is best bang for your book "

"Every member of staff was fantastic and delivered 5 star service. Hard to single any particular person out as they were all so good. The room (Marina Bay view King) and pool were lovely, very clean and a nice balance between modern and old-world charm. Only minor fault was the room did feel a little tired and there was nothing really in the way of amenities in the room (free soft drinks or snacks). Would still recommend 100%"
