"This place has all the aspects that could make it a winner. It's in a great spot, it has a nice distillery behind it, and it's a walk to town. Unfortunately the management is letting this place go big time. Mouldy windows, mouldy shower, big brown stains on blankets, unusable wifi, general maintenance and cleaning seems non existent. The tiled floors we gross sticky also. It's barely three stars, we never saw a staff member the entire time for check-in or out either."

"Beach Retreat has an amazing location, one of the best positions at Coolum. Walking distance of eateries, across the road to beach. Lovely pool and spa. The room itself is tired, chairs and mat worn and grotty, cleaning to be improved in general. On checkout, i was not asked for any feedback, no comment. I did enjoy my visit."

"Our stay was excellent. The property was clean, quiet, and in a great location. There are great walking paths to the beach and the nearby shops. Check-in at reception was exceptional, and the apartment was fantastic with all the amenities we needed for our vacation."
