"A beautiful oasis in the quiet island of Carabao. A hidden gem! We organised a private boat from Boracay to and from the island and were able to dock at the hotel beachfront making it even more special an experience. The room was wonderful, clean and with an incredible ocean view. We had the entire hotel to ourselves pretty much, with only a few other guests staying at the time, and were treated like VIPs. We opted for dinner at the hotel each night and lunch on our last day and were delighted...

"Everything about Fairways and Bluewater Hotel was great. Beautiful pool, pristine beach and some of the friendliest staff we've encountered. The rooms are large and comfortable. And the food at the onsite restaurant was delicious. The free shuttle service to D'mall was a great bonus."

"This was a lovely, quiet place to stay on the island with a family with lots of easy amenities. The price for families from the US will feel super cheap even if you eat room service, poolside etc throughout your stay. The spa massages are great and really cheap (like $70 with a tip for a great 90 minute massage so def check it out!) The offsite water sports are very overpriced onsite though so head into town in a tuk tuk and arrange with an agency. "

Sat on a wall with my tablet for over 2 hours, studying my options on Expedia, to try to make decision, evaluating all properties from their characteristics/reviews.
