"Room was small but comfortable and well equipped. Very clean and even though at front of hotel facing onto main road, noise was limited. Staff were very helpful and provided milk and ice when both requested. Breakfast was continental or full English with plenty of options and staff open to requests to make something available before opening times. Plenty of parking and great location for walking into the city and very near to the Quayside."

"The place is OK as a base which we used it for whilst we were in the area. The food was nice with the added beneit of a Gluten free menu and they do have separate prep areas for food. Rooms nice, although a little dated and some need a little attention in places. Reasonably priced for both food and drink, service can be a little slow at times. "Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x"
