"location nice, rooms hot in summer. doors in halls of hotel need cleaning/paint, looking scruffy. Staff in restaurant especially during breakfast inefficient. took more then 30m to get yoghurt served.... other tables with 6 guests were served 2 dishes each in meantime. waitress should identify better the customers i.e. business travel single person or 6 guests on holiday. staff at night waiting behind bar, almost felt like they avoided contact with customer. If it weren't for the kind gentleman...

"easily the best place I've stayed this year. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the room was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped, and everything exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the whole hotel felt well run and inviting. Fantastic value for money in a great location. I'll definitely be staying here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Pros: recently decorated room, comfortable firm bed, clean white cotton bedding, reasonably quiet, great view of river, free and plentiful continental breakfast with cereals, muffin/croissant, toast with jam & cheese, yoghurts, pleasant and helpful staff. "It’s not worth being called a hotel"

"OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. "stayed here before and love the place. The room is tastefully decorated as is the house. The bed super comfortable and sheets top notch, so smooth and cosy. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Hosts friendly and helpful as always. Cute seating area in the garden, plenty of parking and easy access to town, public transport. Will definitely stay again."

We booked the stay based on how we were spoken over the phone when contacting the propery prior for some details. Spa facilities clean and fully working, cannot mention a negative comment about the property."
