"I made the reservation here as a bridge stop on my way into the Catskill Mountain for a few days and I'm so glad I did. It's remote -- the town of Claryville is like much of the Catskill mountains -- I was in Phonecia for several days last summer -- in that towns seem to lack a town center or even a substantive grocery store or restaurants. "Very disappointing experience. My daughter almost slipped into the pool because the railing was loose, creating a serious safety hazard. We brought this to the hotel’s attention, but no refund or compensation was offered. There was also very limited seating by the pool, the hallways had a strong odor, and the location did not feel safe. Due to these concerns, we chose not to stay and left the property. I would not recommend this hotel."

"Very close to the event that I was participating in so it was perfect for my needs. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety and nearby stores and restaurants. Room was clean and I didn't have any issues with my stay. Would recommend."

"It is unacceptable that a place would rent out without a working septic system, and we were asked to put TP in a garbage bag rather than flush it. The facility should have remained closed until the plumbing issues were resolved."

"The front hotel staff was completely rude and told us we had to walk ALL THE WAY AROUND the hotel to get to the casino when there was a hallway connecting the 2. My mom had to walk down a hill because he was rude and didn’t even tell us where to go or what direction our room was. I won’t be going back."

"Not all Hilton brands are equal.I'm used to Hilton Garden Inn. This Tru brand is more of an average Best Western. No coffee makers in room. Breakfasts were ho-hum to blahs especially scrambled eggs and meats. Staff kept TV in main lounge on Spanish speaking channels. This is in New Jersey. Obviously this was meant to entertain the staff, not the guests. Air conditioner was noisy. 1st room they put me in was a connecting room, where the loudly arguing couple on other side of door was unbearable....

"The shower gel dispenser was nearly empty, and since we only stayed for one night, there wasn't an opportunity to have it refilled. Elevator and bathroom looked outdated. Additionally, the window curtain only covered about two-thirds of the window and did not fully close, which affected privacy and light blocking."

"Very nice rooms but it is an extended stay hotel and the room is not cleaned more than once a week. They will supply towels as needed. They did not explain this upon check in. There is no breakfast provided but coffee is available 24 hours. Most of the staff was very friendly."

Burn marks on the bedding and a strong stale cigarette smoke in the air. I went to check out at 9am the next am, scheduled time for the front desk to open, and no one...
