Book directly through Hilton if you want a nice, updated room. I had an ocean view for $50 upgrade but the room needs updating. I stayed on the 7th floor in the North Tower. This is the only hotel I stay in while in Daytona Beach.

Nautilus Inn
Stayed here for Biketoberfest. It was quiet, near food and shopping and had a kitchen. The ocean view from the balcony was very nice. They even tapped off parking for motorcycles. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will stay there again.
