"Overall, a fairly decent stay. The room could use some updating, but it was clean and comfortable, which made it perfectly fine for a short stay. "Well maintained and our room was nice, but we did have some frustration during check-in. We arrived around 3:20pm (check in is 3pm), and we were told that it'll be a few minutes while they get our room ready. In all it was over an hour before we got to our room (around 4:30). There was another group ahead of us waiting in the lobby when we arrived, and a few other guests seemed to check in and get a room immediately while we waited. "Room was not very clean, had no water and breakfast was very minimal. Would not stay here again"

"Room was clean, washroom clean with good shower and water pressure, staff were helpful and courteous. The bed did sag in the centre with 2 sleepers but was not horrible. Amenities were very basic, no place to hang clothing, towels clean and good quality, microwave and fridge but no coffee or tea, no phone in room to contact front desk. For the price this was a very good stay."

"The staff were very pleasant, and we were able to check-in early. Our Sigmund Freud theme room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The Library Bar has a very classic vibe and delicious cocktails. This hotel is a hidden, historic gem. I’d highly recommend it for business or pleasure."

"Room needs lots of updates. No sports stations on TV. Cable system certainly needs to be updated. Check in was standing outside while a window was opened and clip board was passed through. Very impersonal."
