"I had a booking issue that could have been easy to resolved by the management at the hotel (and by Expedia) but it was not and it cost me many hundreds of dollars. We reached out to the management several times and even tried to talk with them while at the hotel but with no luck as the management was not on premises. This is definitely a no frills place. The bathrooms are private but are not connected to the rooms which was inconvenient. It's very rustic for the price and it feels abandoned...

"OMG!!! I can not even explain how bad this hotel is! First of all there was no ac in the room as well as no conditioner. The shampoo and your hair feel like grass and was called body and hair shampoo. The food was so bad and everything was at least a day old. I asked them why the eggs were so cold they replied with “ oh they are from a night ago and it’s still healthy”! That is absolutely crazy! "Restaurant was reasonably priced and good. System was well-organized; staff was friendly; and there is a playground next door. I did not have a chance to try the breakfast since needing to leave early. The beds were rather firm. And the bathroom door gives a truly cultural experience to family-style (clear on bottom and does not completely separate the rooms but is sufficient). Otherwise, it is perfect and would be 5 stars."

"We had a lovely stay in Brig. The hotel is in a fantastic location, perfect for exploring the historic sights on foot, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially towards our little dog, which we really appreciated. We had a rooftop room with a balcony, which was a real highlight and gave us wonderful views over Brig and the surrounding mountains. "The proprietors are beyond fantastic!! They offer a set meal dinner every night (menu changes) and it’s fantastic!!! Breakfast and coffee are wonderful too. Coin operated washer dryer was great! They helped us get our add on tickets to our Swiss rail pass to get to the must see mountain tops was extremely helpful! I’m telling you this place is great! No AC but they did give me a fan for the room that worked out perfectly."

"We loved the balcony with a view of the mountains. Breakfast every morning was great. The staff were exceptional, making us feel welcome and earnestly wanting us to enjoy our stay. There was a small stash of hiking equipment we were able to borrow from since we couldn’t pack our own hiking poles. The impromptu complimentary wine and cheese tasting where we learned about the Swiss and met other guests from around the world was delightful. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Very nice location. Right in the center of the city. What is very special for us is there are super market and laundry just next to the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpfull for us. would be great if the aircon is cooler. Sadly we stay there when heat wave happen in Europe. So the AC doesnt good enough. Other thing is, would be good if there is fridge on the room. Other than that, i would still reccomend people to stay here."
