"The place was spacious and well decorated. Location was great and staff was friendly. We did not use the amenities but the 6th floor was amazing! The two things that could be a lot better: shower pressure and blackout curtains. I am a very light sleeper and the room was filled with daylight as early as 4:45am in June. Shower had no pressure and very little water. Overall was a great stay!"

"Very clean. Very nice hotel. But no microwaves at all anywhere on the premises. Also no snack bar or vending machines so nowhere to purchase water or snacks unless you leave the hotel. Drinks at rooftop bar super expensive but nice views."

"What a lovely property on Michigan Ave in Chicago's downtown core. I really liked all the impressive historic details in the ballroom and the Normandie Lounge. My room was nice and cool and I had a nice sleep in the accommodation.
The breakfast buffet was delicious and all the staff were the right balance of attentive, friendly and not invasive.
I would stay here again, or try Hilton's London House boutique hotel next time."

"Excellent hotel to stay in. Surrounded by so many things Chicago has to offer. Right across from the river. We were greeted nicely, was able to upgrade to a nicer room at a fair price. Check in was smooth. Room was very nice, well maintained hotel lobby, rooms hallways etc. had breakfast in the Land and Sea restaurant downstairs due to a rainy morning. Would definitely recommend staying at the London House for a stay in Chicago."

"The property was not well maintained, and smelled very bad. My non-smoking room stank horribly of smoke so much to give me a headache trying to sleep. The beds were made well but the whole experience made me doubt the cleanliness of the sheets and blankets. Staff was not very friendly but did their job to check me in and out. "It was a very good place to stay with a family. My daughter enjoyed the little indoor pool. It is close to Navy Pier, restaurants, bowling, movie theater, River Walk and shopping. It is a 15 minute or so walk to the recliner. Also love that there ate 2 beds amd a sofa bed...not an option many of the nesrby hotels offered. All and all a very pleasant stay."
