"What an amazing hotel. The highlight is the onsen, absolutely incredible. They have 2 onsen rooms, male and female. Both rooms have 2 onsens, indoors and outdoors, as well as a sauna. Changing rooms are clean with hair dryers, towels, lockers and other amenities. Staff were very kind, allowed us to borrow umbrellas when it was raining, they have a giftshop inside too. 10/10"

"The hotel facilities are very traditional and well kept, our room was amazing from the awesome lake view to the nice tatami floors. The staff was very helpful and they provided support in both Japanese and English with ease. The kaiseki style dinner is a must, as it is an entire experience of delicious and elevated Japanese dishes with Western influences, we were left satisfied physically and mentally. Please remember that you need to book the kaiseki with the half-board additional option if...

"The views were truly stunning. The landscaping of the hotel is so beautifully designed and maintained, it’s like staying in a fairy tale. Staff were friendly and attentive, particularly at breakfast. One small annoyance which I couldn’t understand was why they limited each room to only 2 access cards. There were 3 of us staying in the room and that caused us some inconvenience. Otherwise an excellent stay. "
